Who We Are

Baking and candy making has always been a tradition in Carrie’s family.  Although formally trained in French pastry, Carrie’s Italian heritage influences her choice of flavors and textures.  Carrie uses only the finest ingredients and prepares all items fresh and made to order. 

Carrie grew up in small steel mill town in western Pennsylvania and has been a longtime resident of Haddonfield, New Jersey where she lives with her husband and two children.  Carrie received her formal pastry chef training from the Restaurant School in Philadelphia.  Her informal training took place during the many years she spent working in the Italian kitchens of her late grandmother, Celestine, and her mother, Gertrude.    The “old school” traditions and the love for the craft of baking and candy making were slowly passed down to her through years of practice and guidance from both her mother and grandmother.

Carrie has provided pastry catering services for luncheons, wine tastings, baby showers, birthday parties and wedding showers.  She has easily accommodated orders for small intimate groups of 6 – 10 individuals to large gatherings of up to 150 guests.    In addition to her pastry catering services, Carrie provides seasonal sweets for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter as well as other holidays throughout the year.
